Job summary

A leading logistics company in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Driver to handle deliveries and pickups at various locations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational policies. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Class 3 Drivers licence, have experience in driving and delivering, and be capable of effectively communicating with customers and vendors. This role also involves securing loads, performing inspections, and supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Valid NS Boom Certification is required.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence.
• A clean driver’s abstract that demonstrates good driving skills.
• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
• Class 3 Lift Certified.
• Air Brakes Certified.
• Class 3 Drivers licence.
• Knowledge of the laws governing vehicle operation.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and make deliveries to customer and vendor locations.
• Complete pre-trip inspections of the truck.
• Secure loads properly and complete drivers log.
• Work with customers to resolve delivery discrepancies.
• Support warehouse operations and assist management.
