Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab, MS Project and PowerBI.

Job Description

We are seeking a Lean Sigma Black Belt to lead and support operational improvement projects throughout the organization. The successful candidate is self-motivated, open-minded and has a strong project management background. They will be responsible for using Lean Sigma tools and methodologies to positively impact Cost, Quality, Delivery Performance, Cash and Customer Satisfaction. They will work closely with leadership at all levels to ensure continuous improvement efforts are driven throughout the organization through sharing of best practices and effectively managing changes.

  • Lead and support operational improvement projects across the organization using Lean Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Impact Cost, Quality, Delivery Performance, Cash and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership at all levels to drive continuous improvement and share best practices.
  • Effectively manage changes within the organization.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering/Business/Operations or related field; 5–10 years of experience in continuous improvement/transformational projects in an industrial/manufacturing domain.
  • Black Belt (or Green Belt) certification in an industrial environment; thorough knowledge of generic key business and manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and coaching capabilities; proven track record in aerospace or industrial companies (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality).
  • Project Management experience; training certificate in Project Management is an asset.
  • Strong training, facilitating, coaching/mentoring and influencing skills.
  • Problem solving experience; ability to work with teams at all hierarchical levels including senior management.
  • Team player with leadership and solid communication skills; detail-oriented, analytical and critical thinker.
  • Fast learner, creative, adaptable and open-minded; willingness to learn and incorporate new technologies/trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab, MS Project and PowerBI.
  • French language is an asset; occasional travel may be applicable.
