BIM Revit Specialist

Toro Aluminum is seeking a Revit Specialist for our BIM initiatives. With Toro Aluminum's vast experience in the Unitized Window Wall industry and your BIM proficiency, you are well-equipped to drive innovative solutions.

The primary duty of the Revit Specialist is to assist the BIM Manager and Project Delivery Teams in the daily creation of new designs and the upkeep of existing Revit Families. This role demands robust CAD/BIM and technical expertise to generate 3D Revit models and Families necessary for model and drawing production, quality assurance, coordination, and constructability evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage building information models (BIM) using Revit and Inventor
  • Create detailed 3D models and drawings for various construction and manufacturing projects
  • Ensure BIM models are accurate and compliant with project requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from various departments to ensure BIM integration.
  • Conduct regular model reviews and quality checks to identify and resolve issues
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM models
  • Maintain and update BIM libraries and templates
  • Create Dynamo scripts for automation
  • Conduct user training sessions and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) or guides
  • Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Architecture or Construction
  • Required minimum 2 years’ experience in BIM modeling using Revit
  • Proven experience with BIM software, specifically Revit and Inventor
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and standards
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards and practices
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Experience with other CAD software is considered an asset

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per annum
