We are now hiring a Workers Compensation Case Manager to work virtual (work from home). This role requires that qualified candidates must reside in one of the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan.

Position

Workers Compensation Claims Manager

Are you experienced in managing workers compensation claims for Quebec? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and ensure the efficient intake and management of workplace injury claims, in line with provincial requirements and our client's policies.

Responsibilities
  • Claims Management: Open claims with the Quebec Workers’ Compensation Board (CNESST) and manage them proactively to minimize time-loss and costs.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate and analyze reported incidents to identify and address issues promptly.
  • Communication: Maintain regular and open communication with clients, injured workers, and the CNESST.
  • Legislation Interpretation: Interpret and apply Quebec\'s workers’ compensation legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Reporting and Appeals: File injury reports, identify appeal issues, and draft objection letters.
  • Case Management: Develop, implement, and monitor return-to-work and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Medical Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on medical reports and review CNESST correspondence.
  • Independent Medical Evaluations: Identify and prepare files for Independent Medical Evaluations (IME).
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing workers" compensation claims in Quebec.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and the claims management process in Quebec.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Education: Background in human resources, health and safety, or insurance is an asset. Significant claims management experience will also be considered.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum : 55,000 CAD

Maximum : 75,000 CAD
