JOB SUMMARY

The Bilingual Marketing Specialist, Copywriting will play an essential role within the marketing team, writing e-commerce product and marketing content for the website and digital channels. Collaborating with the Content Marketing Manager and key marketing stakeholders, the copywriter will create and maintain the ecommerce product database, producing impactful, clear and consistent marketing content and technical product descriptions that support e-commerce platforms and product catalogs. Tasks will include product content creation and updates, website copy, digital catalogue maintenance and landing page creation, SEO and UX optimization.

Essentially, this role will be responsible for updating and maintaining all website, e-commerce product catalogue content. Marketing materials and environments include the Online Catalogue, CMS and eCommerce environments, The Source (Intranet) asset repository and environment, front-end web product pages, digital banners, blog posts, catalogue and other assigned projects. They will be especially committed to supporting the needs of the Marketing department in online communications efforts.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Product SKU and Digital Copywriting: Write clear, compelling, and conversion-focused copy for product pages, SKU descriptions, website updates, plus assisting with email campaigns, and social media when assigned.
  • Website Updates and Maintenance: make content updates and leverage the CMS to build new product landing pages.
  • E-Commerce Optimization: Collaborate with product and marketing channel managers to enhance product content for SEO and improve customer journey touchpoints.
  • Content Calendar Support: Contribute to planning and execution of monthly content calendar and campaign timelines.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and marketing leads to deliver effective, cohesive and timely content.
  • Content Review: Ensure work is error-free before routing for approval, printing or publishing.
  • Communication: Understand and communicate content goals and success factors, conceptual reasoning,

    insights and findings to successfully persuade and justify content creation.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years digital copywriting experience (agency and B2B experience preferred)
  • Content Management, Ecommerce and other marketing automation tools
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and database management
  • Understand content brief requirements and objectives to create solution-based content.
  • Experience with healthcare brand marketing is essential and Quebec market is an asset
  • Experience using marketing automation tools such as Mail Chimp, Ecommerce and CMS platforms
  • Strong understanding of SEO, UX and social media best practices
  • Familiar with AI technologies and how they can support content marketing
  • Experience with performance marketing tools such as Google Analytics
  • Due to the scope of responsibilities and/or the organizational structure, this position requires advanced language skills in both French and English (Bilingual).
