Qualifications

  • High level of accuracy, organization and attention to detail.

Wage Transparency: The base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you are an integral part of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will liaise between our advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new business and renewal client presentations in your assigned group. With this role, you will open the door to an exciting career path opportunity with Group Force and be a valued member and key partner in ensuring client satisfaction.

What You’ll do
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your assigned client group and advisor
  • Financial data entry for renewals and marketing (i.e. Experience info, rate history, demographic data, etc.)
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client presentations (new business/ renewal) for potential clients as well as existing ones
  • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
  • New Business – 10 business days / 15 business days (large group)
  • Maintain full workload on our internal filing system (SharePoint)
  • Analyzing proposals from carriers for new prospects (rates, plan design, TLR, etc.)
What You Bring
  • Typically, 1+ years of experience within the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting
  • Bilingual would be an asset
  • Some knowledge of group benefit plans, plan design, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including basic formulas, calculations, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • High level of accuracy, organization and attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with a variety of people
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional benefits designation is an asset (such as GBA, CEBS, etc.)
