About Elite Camps

The Elite Camps Group of Companies ("Elite") has been running year-round basketball camps and programs in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) since 1999. We cater to over 6,000 athletes every year, making us one of the largest and longest-running basketball camps in Canada. Our year-round programming includes school break day camps, weekly lessons, house leagues (d‑league), after‑school programs, and the Elite Advanced Basketball Academy (EABA). We run our programs in gyms across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including our dedicated facility – The Elite Training Centre (ETC) in Toronto.

About the Role

The Coach is the most important role at Elite Camps as you interact with athletes constantly throughout each session. Once coaches begin working at Elite, they are eligible for other roles depending on performance and availability including Senior Staff, Coordinator, Assistant Director, Director, and Full‑Time Manager. This posting is for positions in Toronto and Richmond Hill.

Responsibilities will vary based on role, program, and experience and include but are not limited to:

  • Gym setup & cleanup
  • Signing athletes in/out
  • Coaching/leading a team
  • Learning our skills, drills, progressions and keywords
  • Leading skill and activity stations
  • Providing constant positive interaction, energy, and feedback
  • Supervising athletes
  • Being awesome!

Our school year programs span from age 4-17 and run season to season (Fall, Winter, Spring) in 10-week sessions.
