Event Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Event Coordinator to facilitate the coordination of our Events with our Sales and Catering Manager, our Banquet Manager, and Events in Chop Steakhouse.

As an Event Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to help develop and mentor your team, uphold standards for your department and have a direct impact on the success of the location. You will work directly with talented chefs, the General Manager, Event Manager and restaurant leaders as well as the hotel division.

THE ROLE
  • To direct and control events in the facility at an excellent level while maintaining and abiding by all standards, policies and/or procedures set forth by our company
  • Providing leadership, training, and mentorship for our event team
  • Managing guest inquiries and customer service, including creating event quotes, invoices and guest complaints
  • Event inventory planning
  • Expert scheduling and labour control
  • Attending weekly EO meetings with the Chef & Event Manager to ensure culinary excellence
  • Oversee & supervise Event Execution to ensure a successful guest experience; set‑up of event rooms, delegate tasks to servers & porters, quality control food and facility
  • Ability to take on Event Manager’s roles & responsibilities due to illness or vacation
