A banquet server at Red Oak Catering is essential in providing outstanding experiences for guests during weddings, corporate retreats, cocktail receptions, dinners, barbecues, and various other catered occasions. You will join a comprehensive team responsible for all aspects, from preparation to cleanup, to guarantee events that are memorable and run seamlessly.



Requirement;



Previous experience in serving, banquets, or catering is desirable.



Having a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.



Must be physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and performing manual labour.



Strong teamwork, multitasking, and communication abilities are essential.



Must be customer-oriented, flexible, detail-focused, and professional.



Regularly lift or transport items such as tables, chairs, trays, and linens, often weighing 30 lbs or more.



Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.



Uphold service standards to maintain Red Oak’s reputation for excellence.



Adhere to all health, safety, and food-handling regulations.



Address guest inquiries or minor issues with poise; refer larger concerns to supervisors.



Keep food and staging areas clean and organised.

Work together with the team to bring in equipment, decorations, and supplies.



After events, help with dismantling, collecting, and cleaning up, which often requires heavy lifting and moving of equipment.
