Responsibilities

• Lead backend development using Node.js with JavaScript and TypeScript best practices.
• Architect and implement AWS cloud-native solutions (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, ECSEKS).
• Design and develop microservices and serverless architectures.
• Oversee code quality, reviews and technical guidance for the development team.
• Build and optimize REST APIs with strong security, scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) for end-to-end delivery.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like CodePipeline, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Ensure security best practices including IAM, JWT, secret management and encryption.
• Monitor, debug and resolve production issues with CloudWatch and logging tools.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new AWS services and Node.js technologies.
