Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond, is hiring for an Invoicing/ Billing Associate who is open to be for temporary administrative pool where you could obtain various different assignments at different companies. Experienced, entry level and students with day time hours available are welcome!

Position Overview

Working mainly independently with guidance as required, ensures the timely billing of all activities pertaining to the Company’s operations in order to maintain an uninterrupted revenue stream.

Job Description
  • Generate invoices for services provided by the company
  • Respond to all customer inquiries
  • Maintain master file rate files to ensure accurate billings
  • Resolve discrepancies in billing and communicate with clients/customers regarding invoices and payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing by preparing invoicing and reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, sales, etc.) to ensure accurate billing.
Required Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; including process improvement abilities
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills such as Excel
  • Education in accounting and/or finance is an asset.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous truck/ocean billing experience
  • Experience working on Sage is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
