A leading power company in Nova Scotia is seeking an Auxiliary Power Engineer for a temporary position in Point Aconi. The successful candidate will ensure the safe operation of high-pressure boiler turbine units while adhering to safety regulations and standards. Qualifications include a 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate and a minimum of three years of relevant experience. This role offers benefits including pension participation and a travel allowance.

Note: This is a term position with an expected to last 9 months.
We are currently looking for an Auxiliary Power Engineer (Term) to join our Power Production team in a temporary position. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of the safe and cost-efficient operation of the high-pressure boiler turbine unit(s) and all associated auxiliary equipment.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position. As such, the successful candidate must comply with the Emera Alcohol and Drug Policy which requires a confidential pre-employment alcohol and drug test in accordance with the Emera Alcohol and Drug Procedure.
