Tasks
Position Overview

You a skilled technician with a passion for automotive excellence. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will diagnose vehicle issues, advise the service manager of repair orders, perform routine maintenance, and support senior technicians with vehicle repairs. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable, contributing to our reputation for outstanding service.

  • Diagnose vehicle issues and manage work orders
  • Collaborate with advisors and technicians on vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Complete all work orders as assigned and report findings to the Service Manager / Advisor
  • Perform routine maintenance and vehicle inspections.
  • Learn how to use new tools / equipment and continuously work to grow
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Providing colleagues with updates on vehicle repair and maintenance plans
  • Ensure proper documentation, work and communication between departments occurs
  • Assist in shop maintenance and lot support during downtime
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications :

  • Red Seal preferred, will consider equivalent experience
  • Requires SGI certification
  • 3+ Years Experience in automotive repair and maintenance is required
  • Certification or diploma in Automotive Service Technology preferred but not required if SGI + Red Seal is achieved
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Requires a clear criminal background, driving license and clear driving abstract
  • Requires your own tool box. The shop does have specialized tools for a variety of jobs.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment (Hunter Level, Hoists, Etc) and tools effectively.
  • OEM training is an asset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
