Job description

We are seeking a permanent full-time Audiologist for our Vanier, Ontario HearCANADA clinic in the Ottawa area. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. This is a bilingual position in French/English.

As an Audiologist with HearCANADA, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. You will provide standardized hearing evaluations, a high standard of client care, make product recommendations and educate on product usage and features, and follow-up with clients to ensure their needs are met.

What you will do
  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
  • Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for
  • A graduate of a recognized Audiology program and registration with CASLPO in good standing (candidates currently in the registration process are welcome to apply but will be asked to provide proof of registration in process)
  • Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required
  • Previous experience in a retail hearing clinic is a definite asset, though not required
  • Comfortability in making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to clients to ensure product adoption
  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
