Key Responsibilities

Attorneys on our U.S. Business Immigration team manage the delivery of complex immigration services, leveraging their technical legal expertise to provide proactive and strategic solutions that align with our clients' needs.

Core elements of the role include
  • Utilizing your technical legal and procedural understanding of U.S. business immigration law—including PERM, NIV and IV law—and effectively applying this knowledge to client situations.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting non‑immigrant, immigrant, and PERM applications in a high‑volume environment.
  • Managing client deliverables and expectations while demonstrating an ability to effectively execute on competing priorities.
  • Facilitating the legal movement of employees across borders for business travel.
  • Managing law clerks and other members of the client service team.
  • Continually evaluating and enhancing best U.S. immigration client service delivery best practices.
Qualifications
  • A JD along with admission to any U.S. state bar.
  • Practical knowledge of U.S. immigration.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide not only technical legal expertise but also proactive and strategic business solutions that are in line with the needs of our clientele.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $85,000 to $155,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
