About The Role

We are hiring an Associate Software Developer to support the development of enterprise-grade digital solutions. This is a junior, execution-focused role intended for early-career developers who want to build real production systems while learning within a structured consulting environment. You will work under the guidance of more experienced developers and solution designers, contributing to applications, integrations, and workflows that improve business processes in complex, regulated environments.

Responsibilities
  • Support Application Development: Implement specific frontend or backend tasks and components under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Assist with Integrations: Contribute to the development of APIs and database updates as part of a larger delivery effort.
  • Write Guided Code: Produce clean, maintainable code following clearly defined standards, examples, and established technical patterns.
  • Testing Support: Assist with testing activities, including bug fixes, test execution, and UAT preparation to ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate & Learn: Proactively ask questions and seek feedback to ensure correct implementation while learning enterprise development practices.
  • Maintain Codebases: Work within existing codebases to implement minor updates and fixes as assigned.
  • Growth & Participation: Actively participate in Agile development environments to understand how technology solves complex enterprise problems.
Qualifications

Required

  • University education in progress (anticipated graduation in ≤12 months) or recently completed in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience building or contributing to software applications through internships, co‑ops, academic projects, or early professional roles
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work within existing codebases
  • Familiarity with web application development concepts (frontend, backend, APIs, data)
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Communication skills in French are encouraged
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow defined technical direction
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Considered an Asset

  • Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Experience writing or consuming APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications (Azure preferred).
  • Exposure to Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, or other low-code platforms.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD or deployment workflows.
