Job summary

A leading materials science company in Alberta is looking for an Associate Operator for their LP-7 Operations team in Prentiss. This role involves operating equipment, monitoring processes, and collaborating with team members on a 24-hour rotating shift basis. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, a valid Power Engineering Certificate, and 2 or more years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • 2+ years of related work experience (Operations, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical).
  • Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned equipment or areas of the plant and perform related activities.
  • Monitor process conditions and achieve desired performance metrics.
  • Conduct effective shift relief and communicate with incoming team members.
