Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of field veterinarians to provide technical and medical expertise for Cattle and Equine products
- Collaborate with sales and key accounts to enhance client engagement and accelerate business growth
- Set strategic objectives and manage departmental budgets effectively
- Provide medical and technical leadership within the Livestock Business Unit
- Represent the employer at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical veterinary experience
- Minimum of 5 years in industry roles involving technical services, medical marketing, or veterinary operations
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and budgets
- Must have an active or be eligible for a provincial veterinary license and in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate training or specialization in cattle or equine medicine is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and educate diverse audiences
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts and translate them into actionable business insights
- Familiarity with clinical research and scientific literature review
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
