A major Canadian bank is seeking an Associate Director in Edmonton. The role involves analyzing loan requests and providing deal support in commercial real estate finance. As an Associate Director (AD), you will support Directors in the Bank’s Real Estate Markets group. You will analyze and underwrite new loan requests using the Bank’s Risk Assessment Framework, Financial Analysis and Credit Tools. The primary responsibility is to compile financial information and prepare credit submissions to the Bank’s credit group. Other responsibilities include daily administration of the Group’s lending portfolio, performing annual credit reviews of the existing portfolio, liaising with internal and external stakeholders in the credit process, and participating in other team initiatives such as industry research reports, ad hoc portfolio strategy requests, and portfolio reporting management.
