Job Description

Product Control is the front-line finance function for Capital Markets. It’s an important control function primarily responsible for understanding, substantiating and reporting of Front Office trading PnL and balance sheets.

We are seeking a dynamic and strong individual to play a pivotal role in helping to lead Product Control in the implementation of a new FTP (“Funds Transfer Pricing”) initiative as part of a multi-year project.

What will you do?
  • Lead the design, implementation, and execution of the new FTP framework for the bank's capital markets division within the Product Control processes.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury, IT, and Finance) to ensure timely and accurate implementation of new FTP process.
  • Act as a key point of contact on the FTP project on behalf of the global Product Control team.
  • Represent the Product Control interests and requirements in project discussions and decision‑making processes.
  • Ensure alignment of project deliverables with the Product Control team’s objectives and standards.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of the FTP project, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Work closely with local Product Control teams across regions to understand their specific FTP reporting processes, challenges, and constraints.
  • Act as a liaison between the FTP project and local teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across regional Product Control teams.
  • Provide ongoing support to local Product Control teams during the implementation phase, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
  • Manage and oversee junior Product Control members of the project team.
  • Ability to make a real impact to the bank and have decisions that will change how we do business.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Experienced in project management and change management.
  • Proven experience and strong overall understanding of Product Control activities, operations and linkages with other teams.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication and people management skills
  • Ability to make decisions and collaborate effectively with people
  • Ability to deal with problems that are not well defined and create clear and concise solutions with feedback from many users
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge and experience working with FTP.
  • CA/CGA/CMA/CPA/CFA/MBA (Finance) or other accounting designation
  • Experience working with Big Data to drive Business Driver insights and analytics
