Associate Director, Global Infrastructure/Project Finance North America - S&P Global Ratings

You’ll join our dynamic North American infrastructure team, part of the Global Infrastructure Practice. Based primarily in New York and Toronto, the team covers Power & LNG, Midstream, Regulated Utilities, and Project Finance (P3), though coverage can evolve. You may cover multiple sectors. You’ll collaborate with experienced industry specialists globally who rate infrastructure companies and assets, within a highly integrated and collegiate S&P Global Ratings culture that emphasizes teamwork, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Director to join our growing North American Infrastructure ratings team. Responsibilities include analytical surveillance of a portfolio of rated issuers, new issuer ratings, managing issuer relationships as a primary analyst, investor interaction, and presenting credit views both internally and externally. Confident and knowledgeable responses to analytical questions, and credible representation of S&P Global Ratings in meetings and with investors, are essential.
As an Associate Director in the Global Infrastructure Practice, you will perform rigorous analytical work, including research, fundamental credit analysis, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and report writing on rated corporate and project finance entities. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be customer-oriented, and demonstrate excellent presentation skills.

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
