Goodway Group is seeking an Associate Director, Client Experience, to bridge strategic leadership and operational management for our Shopper Marketing partnership with a regional grocer. The role focuses on building strong client relationships with CPG brand partners, driving program growth through proactive sales and upselling opportunities, and ensuring operational excellence. The Associate Director will manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaign execution while identifying opportunities for process improvements, workflow efficiency, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Client Development

    Act as a trusted advisor, cultivating strong relationships with brand partners to uncover new opportunities. Proactively drive sales by identifying upsell opportunities across supplier- and category-led campaigns. Partner with clients to deliver consultative recommendations that align with strategic business goals.

  • Operational Excellence

    Ensure operational efficiency and process rigor across campaign workflows. Anticipate client and team needs, proactively solving challenges before they escalate. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reporting, approvals, and campaign execution processes.

  • Thought Leadership

    Provide thought leadership in Shopper Marketing strategies and campaign best practices. Influence measurement, reporting, and optimization strategies to deliver meaningful client outcomes. Share industry insights and best practices with clients and internal stakeholders. Work cross-functionally with planning, analytics, and activation teams to deliver seamless campaign execution. Motivate and guide team members to embrace efficiency and excellence in execution.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of client management and digital/omnichannel marketing experience.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and upselling campaign opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Strong project management skills; experience with reporting tools such as Tableau preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.

Travel/Location: This role requires residence in the Tampa/Orlando area with frequent travel to Publix Headquarters in Lakeland, FL.
