The bilingual Associate Director, Inside Sales will play a fundamental role in achieving ambitious advisor acquisition and AUM objectives. The primary responsibility of the person in this role will be working with and supporting the Vice-president, Sales, Eastern Canada in supporting their territories, consulting with Advisors via phone and through virtual meetings. They will provide valuable market insight, product overviews, and information to assist advisors in understanding the value of including the firm's REIT in their clients' portfolios. This individual will be a self-starter, highly motivated and thrive working in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the sales team providing support to Sales VP and their respective territories in achieving aggressive growth goals.
- Cold calling, prospecting, booking meetings and following up on sales activities for the VP's.
- Following up with Advisors after VP meetings to answer any questions and assist in moving activity forward towards sale.
- Update daily activities and maintain accurate Advisor records within CRM in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of any inbound calls related to trade documents, working with the operations team to ensure proper follow-up with the advisor teams.
- Support all marketing and sales campaign efforts to promote the REIT.
- Create and implement a sales plan in collaboration with VP's.
- Proactively following up on road shows and events.
- Initiate phone and digital contact with Advisors and potential partners to expand and identify new relationships within the financial advisor network.
- Provide valuable advice and information regarding the REIT to support Advisors in a continuously changing business environment.
- Effectively provide ongoing support to Advisors with respect to fund & market trends.
- Maintain an up-to-date and thorough understanding of the firm's investment offerings, market trends, competitive offerings and industry best practices.
- Build relationships with Advisors through high-quality, pro-active interactions.

- This job is based in the Toronto office with some travel across Canada.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
- Must be fluent in both French and English.
- Autonomous and organized.
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry in a similar sales capacity.
- Be self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and shift tasks quickly as well as to work independently.
- Strong knowledge of the industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability in verbal and written communications.
- Team player with proven ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM.
