The Data Engineering practice at Gore Mutual Insurance is going through an exciting transformation to modernize technologies and approaches, and to better enable a data driven future for the company.

The Associate Data Engineer is responsible for supporting the building and maintaining of datapipelines, datamodelling and data integrity/validation. The role will also support several exciting ongoing data migration, acquisition, and development projects, aligning with our new strategic data priorities.

What will you do in this role:

• Support the design, development, and documentation of data pipelines and data storage systems
• Support the maintenance of data systems and platforms
• Collect and analyze requirements and develop data processes and applications that satisfy them
• Identify new opportunities for data acquisition and help with utilization of new data asset
• Support internal business clients such as Data Scientists
