Overview

Join to apply for the Associate Account Executive role at Marsh. This role is based in Toronto, ON and is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and / or relationship management activities with clients and prospects to originate new client relationships and / or expand and retain existing relationships.
• Partner with various account management teams to provide superior client service.
• Initiate new revenue for the firm through the acquisition of new clients or the expansion of revenues from existing clients.
• Achieve yearly sales targets.
• Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.
• Attend and participate in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent Marsh.

What you need to have

• 3+ years of work experience within commercial insurance.
• RIBO license.
• Strong business acumen including knowledge of general business functions, finance, and issues.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the C-suite.
• Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
