Job Description and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring policies and procedures are followed consistently in daily operations
- Providing supporting information for reporting
- Assisting in daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling, planning, workload management, delegating tasks, and communication across departments
- Assisting with hiring, training, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members
- Performing administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and invoice processing
- Prioritizing guest service and acting with the guest in mind
- Collaborating with Front Office and Maintenance Managers to coordinate the rooms division team
- Acting upon feedback to improve guest experience and team workplace environment
- Participating in meetings in the absence of the Manager to maintain communication
- Adhering to Hilton standards
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Availability to work varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays
Skills Requirements:
To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
- Experience in a similar environment is an asset, with a proven ability to provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to high customer service standards
- Highly organized with effective time management skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma
- WHMIS training (asset)
- Diploma in Resort and Hotel Management or related field
