Job Description and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring policies and procedures are followed consistently in daily operations
  2. Providing supporting information for reporting
  3. Assisting in daily housekeeping operations, including scheduling, planning, workload management, delegating tasks, and communication across departments
  4. Assisting with hiring, training, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members
  5. Performing administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and invoice processing
  6. Prioritizing guest service and acting with the guest in mind
  7. Collaborating with Front Office and Maintenance Managers to coordinate the rooms division team
  8. Acting upon feedback to improve guest experience and team workplace environment
  9. Participating in meetings in the absence of the Manager to maintain communication
  10. Adhering to Hilton standards
  11. Performing other duties as assigned
  12. Availability to work varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays
Skills Requirements:

To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate:

  1. Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
  2. Experience in a similar environment is an asset, with a proven ability to provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Strong commitment to high customer service standards
  5. Highly organized with effective time management skills
  6. Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Education Requirements:
  1. High School diploma
  2. WHMIS training (asset)
  3. Diploma in Resort and Hotel Management or related field
