Job summary

A recruitment firm in Canada is seeking an ASB officer for a 3-month temporary contract starting in December. Job description

Our client, based in Dover , is currently recruiting for an ASB officer on a 3-month rolling temporary contract.

This position will start in December. The hourly rate is £26 via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within councils or housing associations.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Dealing with complaints from residents about Community Safety, safeguarding and neighbourhood disputes
  • Taking appropriate action including legal action, and attendance at court, in line with agreed policies and procedures
  • Interviewing victims, perpetrators and potential witnesses of Community Safety
  • Receiving casework referrals from designated referral agencies, including the Police and Housing Management, regarding serious Community Safety, nuisance and harassment
Experience required:
  • Experience of taking cases to court
  • Experience within a housing related or similar organisation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Have a good understanding of housing legislation
  • The ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work on own initiative
Working hours:
  • Mon – Thu
  • 9 : 00 – 16 : 15
