Job Type: Permanent- Full-Time/shift work (40 hours per week)

Physical Job Location: Multiple locations in BC

Salary: $34.65/ hour

Vacation: 4% each pay cheque (6% after 5 years)

Start date of employment: As soon as possible

Benefits: Extended Health, Dental after 6 months of employment

About Us

Parker Johnston is one of the largest roofing and cladding contractors in British Columbia. The services offered by the Parker Johnson’s team include design, installation and maintenance of roofing and cladding systems renowned for durability and architectural appeal.

Responsibilities:
  1. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  2. Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates
  3. Fit and join sheet metal parts using equipment
  4. Cut materials using hand or power tools
  5. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
  6. Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
  7. Always adhere to safety requirements
Job Requirements:
  1. Completion of High School
  2. 2 to 3 years of sheet metal installations experience is required
  3. Ability to handle and lift heavy loads up to 60lbs
  4. Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety goggles, gloves, tools
  5. Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
