POSITION OVERVIEW

At BDC, our mission is to help Canadian entrepreneurs build strong, thriving businesses. In this role, you will be at the heart of that mission, combining project analysis with exceptional client support.

As an Analyst, Online Client Service, you will be reporting to your Team Lead and:

  • Provide personalized guidance and technical support to entrepreneurs through multiple channels (phone, email, chat, and digital platforms).
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate BDC tools and services while delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Review and analyze loan applications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET
  • Advice: Provide guidance on BDC’s products, tools and services.
  • Referral: Refer potential applicants to relevant channels depending on the situation.
  • Support: Respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy, resolve technical issues, and guide clients through BDC’s digital tools before and during the application process.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, propose solutions, and document resolutions according to established standards.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong connections with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on policies, trends, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate advice and promote BDC products and services.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • College degree in commerce, administration, or related field. Bachelor (BBA) is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, technical support and/or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.
  • A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to help entrepreneurs succeed.

Schedule: 7-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday to Friday (rotating schedule).
