What you’ll be doing

As a CIBC team member, the Analyst IT Quality Assurance is responsible for developing and executing test scenarios and scripts for functional system integration and acceptance testing for platforms in compliance with established controls and standards. The role works in multiple technical areas to perform various assignments, employing diverse skillset. The AnalystTriggered, works cooperatively with others to achieve synergies and accomplish common goals, defining and documenting criteria for testing and presenting results to achieve established goals and objectives following the defined testing methodology.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1‑3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed
  • Testing Expertise‑ Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end‑to‑end testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products 피 yourself meet business and system requirements. An added advantage would be familiarity with testing techniques and tools for APIs, Web Services, and database testing (such as XML, JSON, SQL, Unix/DOS, HTTP, REST/SOAP API testing tools), as well as programming or scripting experience (e.g., Java, Python, VBScript).
  • Team Management‑ Proactively identify potential issues throughout all test phases, and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
  • Project Coordination‑ Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders, and
    escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned with your project’saffold timeline, budget, and goals.
