A local conservation authority is seeking an experienced engineer to evaluate development proposals and ensure compliance with regulations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering Plan Review, this position is responsible for undertaking engineering‑based evaluations of development proposals to ensure conformity with relevant provincial and conservation authority policies, regulations and guidelines. Collaboration with CVC planning staff, municipalities and development proponents to resolve concerns related to development applications is required, along with supporting broader CVC initiatives associated with conserving, protecting, enhancing and restoring water and aquatic resources.
