Job description

As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Dollarama, you will help implement the company’s cybersecurity vision, supporting operations across stores, warehouses, distribution centers, and the head office. Working closely with IT infrastructure, legal teams, and third-party vendors, your mission is to maintain and improve system protection and customer data security.

About the role: Cybersecurity Analyst

The Cybersecurity Analyst supports the operational side of Dollarama’s cybersecurity framework. This includes managing tools like IDS/IPS, SIEM, firewalls, and monitoring network activity across cloud, on-premise, and endpoint systems. The role also involves incident response, forensics, and tuning security alerts to ensure real-time protection.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to support secure software deployments, phishing campaigns, and awareness training. A key responsibility is helping to analyze security logs, detect patterns, and lead investigations for significant cybersecurity events.

Requirements / Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT security role

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Linux RHEL, cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), and digital forensics
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving, communication, and incident response
  • CISSP certification is a plus
