Are you someone who loves uncovering insights hidden in data? We’re looking for an Analyst, Business Analysis to join our Finance team within Insurance Services. In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams across AMA to turn complex information into meaningful insights that help guide sound business decisions. You’ll analyze trends, process and products, and bring clarity to big questions — all while helping us make smarter, data-driven choices that serve our members better. In this role, you will also be supporting the corporate reserving function, to support informed business decisions across pricing, underwriting, reinsurance, and capital management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in actuarial analysis, business intelligence, business analysis, or a related technical role.

  • Actuarial reserving experience or exam 5 would be an asset.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL (including complex query writing).
  • Experience developing and managing BI solutions or dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.

  • Strong data visualization and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.

  • Familiarity with data management languages (Python, R) and experience in the insurance industry are strong assets.

  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
