January 2026 Rate: $75,022.79–$92,889.33 per Collective Bargaining Agreement (OPEIU)
Once ACA certified, receive a $1,741.22 monthly ACA premium applied as applicable up to the annual amount of $20,000.00*

Position Summary
At Ornge, our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and airworthiness of our fleet, enabling us to deliver critical care when it matters most. We are building a talent pipeline for future AME opportunities in 2026 across several base locations, including Sudbury, Toronto, Thunder Bay, London, Ottawa, Sioux Lookout, Timmins, and Kenora.
Hours of Work
- Rotating day shift pattern
- May be required to work various shifts and overtime, including days, weekends, statutory holidays, and on‑call in a 24/7 environment
Qualifications
- Must hold a current and valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license
- Experience with AW139 or PC12 considered an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and e‑mail
- Valid Canadian passport or ability to work in Canada and to travel to the U.S.A.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada
