Job description

At Webflow, our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. As the pioneer of the Website Experience Platform (WXP), we’re redefining how teams Build, Manage, and Optimize for the web — combining visual development, content management systems, AI-driven personalization, hosting, and end-to-end analytics in a single platform. With AI at the core, Webflow helps teams move faster, create more performant digital experiences, and scale without heavy engineering support. From independent designers and creative agencies to global enterprises, hundreds of thousands of organizations use Webflow to turn ideas into reality — and to power what’s possible on the web.

We are looking for a hands on, results-oriented and visionary Product Owner to join our newly formed Applied AI team. You will be at the heart of our mission to build a cutting-edge AI Agentic Platform. This is a pivotal role where you will translate the strategic AI vision into a tangible product roadmap, defining what we build and why. You will be the bridge between our business stakeholders and our brilliant engineering team, ensuring we build AI solutions that deliver measurable value and transform how our company operates.

About the role:
  • Location: Remote-first (United States)
  • Full-time
  • Permanent
  • Exempt
  • The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. The specific base pay within this range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
  • United States (figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
  • Zone A: $138,000 - $191,000
  • Zone B: $129,500 - $179,000
  • Zone C: $121,000 - $167,500

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

  • Reporting to the Director, Applied AI

As an AI Product Owner you’ll …

  • Own Product Vision & Strategy: Articulate the product vision for the AI Agentic Platform. Collaborate closely with the Director of Applied AI and cross-functional stakeholders to define the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Monitor Backlog Management: Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog with detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear business justification for our AI Engineers.
  • Drive Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the AI engineering team and business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, HR). Gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress and product releases effectively.
  • Drive Impact: Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the impact of AI initiatives. Use data-driven insights to iterate on the product and inform prioritization decisions.
  • Be the Voice of the User: Deeply understand the needs of your internal users and stakeholders to champion solutions that solve their most pressing problems and unlock new efficiencies.
  • Lead Agile Ceremonies: Including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and rapid delivery.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role.

About you:

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably working on technical platforms, internal tools, or AI/ML-powered products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience leading agile teams.
  • Possess the ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. A foundational understanding of AI/ML principles is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and a passion for using metrics to guide product strategy.

You’ll thrive as an AI Product Owner if you:

  • Have experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
  • Are a certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Have direct experience with products involving Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation, or agentic AI systems/platforms
  • A strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and compliance standards
  • Are exceptional at communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Stay curious and open to growth — actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI to unlock creativity, accelerate progress, and amplify impact
Our Core Behaviors:
  • Obsess over customer experience. We deeply understand what we’re building and who we’re building for and serving. We define the leading edge of what’s possible in our industry and deliver the future for our customers
  • Move with heartfelt urgency. We have a healthy relationship with impatience, channeling it thoughtfully to show up better and faster for our customers and for each other. Time is the most limited thing we have, and we make the most of every moment
  • Say the hard thing with care. Our best work often comes from intelligent debate, critique, and even difficult conversations. We speak our minds and don’t sugarcoat things — and we do so with respect, maturity, and care
  • Make your mark. We seek out new and unique ways to create meaningful impact, and we champion the same from our colleagues. We work as a team to get the job done, and we go out of our way to celebrate and reward those going above and beyond for our customers and our teammates
Benefits & wellness
  • Equity ownership (RSUs) in a growing, privately-owned company
  • 100% employer-paid healthcare, vision, and dental insurance coverage for full-time employees (working 30+ hours per week) and their dependents. Full-time employees may also be eligible for voluntary insurance options where applicable in the respective country of employment
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing caregivers, as well as an additional 6-8 weeks of pregnancy disability leave for birthing parents to be used before child bonding leave (note: where local requirements are more generous, employees receive the greater benefit); full-time employees also have access to family planning care and reimbursement
  • Flexible PTO for all locations and sabbatical program
  • Access to mental wellness and professional coaching, therapy, and Employee Assistance Program
  • Monthly stipends to support work and wellness
  • 401k plan or pension schemes (in countries where statutorily required), and other financial wellness benefits, like CPA and financial advisor coverage

Temporary employees may be eligible for paid holiday and time off, statutory leaves of absence, and company-sponsored medical benefits depending on their Fixed Term Contract and their country/state of employment.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
