What will your typical day look like?

We’re looking for a motivated mid-level AI/ML Analyst with 3–5 years of professional experience (including at least 1 year in an analyst role or a strong portfolio) to design, build, and deploy ML solutions that improve IT operations and infrastructure reliability. You’ll develop models and GenAI‑enabled tools that reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR), lower hours worked per incident, and raise overall infrastructure stability. This role is hands‑on, cross‑functional, and impactful — you’ll own projects end‑to‑end from ideation through delivery.

What you’ll do

• Design and build ML models to predict incidents, classify alerts, and reduce MTTR and incident handling effort. Continuously refine models through monitoring and feedback loops.
• Deploy and maintain production ML systems, including model validation, CI/CD for models, and performance monitoring.
• Integrate GenAI capabilities to improve data accessibility, automate runbooks and knowledge retrieval, and support collaboration across IT teams.
• Implement AI/ML‑enriched alerting using ServiceNow, driving automated incident prioritization, root‑cause hints, and suggested remediation steps.
• Leverage Splunk and Splunk ITSI for advanced analytics, correlation searches, KPI calculation, and optimized dashboards/visualizations for SREs and ops teams.
• Build and maintain API integrations (RESTful services) to ensure reliable data flows between logging, monitoring, ticketing, and orchestration systems.
• Process and prepare data for model training: ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, labeling, and sampling across SQL/NoSQL sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (SREs, NOC, platform engineering, security, product owners) to gather requirements and deliver fit‑for‑purpose AI/ML solutions.
• Manage projects independently, documenting design decisions, runbooks, and handoffs to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance and security, adhering to ISMS standards, data security policies, and incident SLAs.
• Contribute to knowledge management, maintain ServiceNow ticket quality, and document models, data lineage, and operational playbooks.
• Stay current on AI/ML research and industry best practices to continuously improve tooling and approaches.

Qualifications

Required technical skills

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar for model development and data engineering.
• Experience with Splunk and Splunk ITSI for correlation, KPI/episode management, and dashboards.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs and GenAI workflows for knowledge retrieval, summarization, and automation.
• ServiceNow familiarity — ticketing workflows, APIs, and integration patterns.
• SQL and NoSQL database experience for data extraction and transformation.

Preferred qualifications

• RESTful API design and integration experience.
• Basic infrastructure and networking knowledge (logs, metrics, traces, topology).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent).
• Understanding of operational metrics (MTTR, MTTD, availability, incident work hours).
• ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn.
• Data processing tools: Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark.
• Cloud AI/ML platforms: AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML.
• Certifications
• SPLUNK Power User certification — required or in progress highly preferred.
• ITIL or related Service Management qualification — highly desirable.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
