Code Ninjas Sudbury is part of a dynamic, fast-growing educational franchise that teaches kids ages 5 - 14 to code by building video games. We have a strong, dedicated team committed to making learning fun and engaging.

Position Overview

We are looking for an After‑School Youth Program Instructor to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and early childhood education, punctual, hard‑working, dependable, good with kids, and possesses strong leadership qualities. This position is available starting now and all year round. This is a permanent, part time position, not a summer job.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students areas for improvement, and note each student's strengths and needs
  • Track progress of each junior student during the lesson
  • Report to the Junior Program Coordinator to discuss problems, strategies and solutions
  • Communicate with parents about their child
  • Maintain and develop a clean classroom (dojo) for junior age students
Qualifications
  • Proven work history with kids ages 5 to 9
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning assessment pedagogy is an asset
  • Must be organized and an excellent communicator
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Basic experience teaching stem preferred, but not required
  • Must be FUN and ENERGETIC
