Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of experience in paint application using spray guns.
  • Must be willing to use personal protective equipment including masks, gloves, respirator, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in the use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

  • Select, prepare and mix solutions or coatings according to formulas and specifications.
  • Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare the surface of materials and components.
  • Prepare and mask parts with fixtures and materials prior to coating.
  • Set up and operate various types of manual spray guns to apply coating to parts.
  • Inspect surfaces visually for defects and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain spray/coating equipment and participate in continuous improvement.
