Job summary

A healthcare organization in Alberta is looking for an Advanced Care Paramedic to assess and transport patients, operate ambulances, and provide critical care. Qualifications

• Non-restricted registration in good standing as an Advanced Care Paramedic with ACOP.
• Current BCLS/CPR certification required.
• Must hold a valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent.
• Proof of completion of the F.A.R.E. test required.
• Candidates must be qualified to perform full operational duties from the start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and transport patients.
• Operate ambulances or other modes of transportation.
• Administer medications and deliver clinical care.
• Lead the ALS crew during patient transport.
• Ensure EMS vehicles are properly stocked and equipped.

Skills

Non-restricted registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/CPR)

Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License

Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.)
