Overview

Addiction and Mental Health Community Services in Brooks, AB is currently in search of a highly organized and empathetic Administrative Support III to support scheduling and administrative operations within a clinical setting. The role operates under guidance and direction to handle scheduling clinical appointments, manage clinical schedules, and provide administrative support to clients, staff, and leadership teams. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to clients, staff, and leadership teams.
  • Perform operational support including maintaining confidential records in accordance with Health Information Management (HIM) procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate multiple appointments with various stakeholders and resources.
  • Enter timesheets and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with general administrative duties as assigned within the department or program.
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive practical knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; proficiency in Zoom for virtual meetings.
  • Strong technical skills, adaptability to different software systems, and ability to manage digital communication and documentation efficiently.
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in an office setting.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary education (certificate or diploma) in office technology or administrative assistance/management.
  • Completion of Connect Care training: Ambulatory Clerk/Admin and Ambulatory Advanced Scheduler with referrals (if applicable).
