POSITION SUMMARY

Memorial University maintains a Candidate List of individuals who are interested in short-term contractual or temporary positions, as they become available. These positions include clerical, secretarial, administrative, accounting, and student support.

DUTIES
  • Provide general office reception for a unit.
  • Prepare letters, other correspondence, and reports.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Reply to enquiries via email, in person, or phone from faculty, staff, and students.
  • Arrange meetings and room bookings.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1‑3 years experience in clerical, secretarial, or administrative program activities; or completion of a 2‑year office or business administration program; or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
  • Willingness to work for short periods of employment.
  • Qualified individuals will be evaluated on academic training, experience, and demonstrated skills and abilities, and must meet the specific requirements for the positions.
