Key duties

Responsibilities
  • Prepare correspondence, letters, bulletins, and maintain operational records; manage locker requests, office supplies, and punch cards for new hires/transfers.
  • Support onboarding and internal transfers, maintain Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) status changes (e.g., new hires, base transfers), and coordinate service anniversaries.
  • Schedule and assist with training sessions and onboarding classes; update staff schedules and anomalies.
  • Liaise with GSOC for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) HID cards and assist with hardware/software troubleshooting and mainframe equipment.
  • Allocate tasks and provide guidance to team members.
  • Process pay adjustments/expenses and ensure compliance with company policies, collective agreements, and regulations.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, maintain confidentiality, and independently organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma;
  • Minimum 3 years office experience;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammar;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in payroll, an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as formatting and proofreading skills;
  • Aptitude for accuracy and detail;
  • Aptitude for math;
  • Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC), an asset;
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast‑paced environment;
  • This role may involve taking minutes, performing physical tasks like lifting or climbing, or working variable shifts;
