Overview

Intertek is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our Caleb Brett team in our Edmonton, Alberta office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Caleb Brett/Operations!

Through guidance provided by the Branch Manager, and in a safe, legal and ethical manner, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing effective and competent office support to the Laboratory and Operations, thus supporting the goal of providing a service to our clients that is accurate, timely and cost effective.

  • Invoicing
  • Mailing
  • Ordering
  • Copying/printing
  • Receiving samples
  • Packing and shipping
  • Maintaining job folders
  • Purchase Orders
  • Expedites the preparation, maintenance, distribution, and control of documentation within the branch office.
  • Coordinates preparation and distribution of reports
  • Carries out all of the above responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy
What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role
  • High school education and proficiency in the English language
