What we are looking for

This position reports to the Senior Managing Director in Corporate Private Debt. The successful candidate will have administrative management, business support, as well as overseeing the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Private Debt Department. This key position requires a proactive, multi-tasking individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative. Bound by absolute confidentiality, the successful candidate will need to understand business needs quickly and adapt to various contexts involving diverse stakeholders.

Your responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Senior Managing Director and team
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound communications, particularly marketing-related communications on the website and LinkedIn
  • Act as a trusted support resource and coordinate all activities required to meet the demands of ongoing priorities, including agenda management
  • Coordinate meetings, write reports, and keep agendas and priorities up to date
  • Coordinate business travel as needed
  • Preparation of expense reports for approval
  • Other duties as required
Must have requirements to be successful in this role
  • Post secondary education in administrative studies, office management or any other relevant field
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative assistant position
  • Strong sense of tact and diplomacy while ensuring quality service delivery
  • Strong sense of responsibility and pride in a job well done
  • Excellent ability to understand issues, problem-solve and be highly adaptable
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and a sustained ability to prioritize work and make informed decisions
  • Working experience in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) tools and the technological tools in administrative support
  • Bilingual in English and French an asset

  • Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week.

For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.
