Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience.
  • High degree of overall computer proficiency.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs.
  • Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and general office equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephone and directs calls as needed.
  • Greets and escorts all visitors.
  • Handles all accounting (AP/AR) and inventory.
  • Schedules appointments for the business.
  • Composes and types correspondence as required.
  • Inputs data into CFSS system.
  • Assists client families with paperwork and scheduling.
  • Receives and records payments from families.
  • Maintains files and related systems.
  • Coordinates and ensures office supplies are available.
  • Serves as business timekeeper.

We are seeking an organized and self-motivated Administrative Assistant who will be handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings. To be successful in this position you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $20 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time Tuesday – Saturday 8:30 – 5:00 PM

Location: Rolling Hills Memorial Park located in Richmond, California

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of administrative or accounting experience.

High degree of overall computer proficiency.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Google Docs.

Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and general office equipment; and

Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

Job Duties

Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to the appropriate person and places outgoing calls for the business.

Greets and escorts all visitors and their guests.

Performs all accounting (AP/AR), inventory, and account reconciliation for the business.

Schedules appointments for the business.

Composes and types of correspondence as needed.

Compiles and reports on statistical data as required by the business or Managing Partner.

Inputs data into CFSS system accurately, completely, and timely.

Assists client families with processing necessary paperwork and scheduling appointments.

Receives and records payments from client families.

Updates and maintains files and related systems for the business.

Serves as business timekeeper and maintains local employee files.

Coordinates and maintains office supplies and equipment.

Serves as a backup in other administrative functions as needs dictate; and
