Overview

KOBAY ENSTEL LTD is a Tier 1.5 automotive parts manufacturer specializing in complex stampings, welded assemblies, and tube forming for seat assemblies. We provide advanced design, engineering, and process development services to leading global OEMs. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable and Financial Analyst with expertise in Tier 1 automotive accounting, cross-border AR operations, and advanced ERP systems. This role manages accounts receivable for both the Canadian head office and U.S. subsidiary, while supporting financial forecasting, sales trend analysis, and strategic reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle AR for Canadian and U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with both jurisdictions and proper FX adjustments.
  • Handle industry-specific AR processes including retroactive billing / crediting, tooling billing, scrap rebates, and premium freight.
  • Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals for month-end and year-end closing.
  • Support external audits with detailed reconciliations and financial documentation.
  • Provide financial forecasting and sales analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Utilize Infor SunSystems, Trans4M, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, SUMIFS, data modeling) for analysis and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AR and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience managing quarterly sales price changes and cost adjustments, including monitoring fluctuations and implementing proper accounting treatments.
  • Analyze and interpret sales reports, providing insights into revenue performance and identifying trends or anomalies.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain budget reports, supporting management in financial planning and cost control.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years of progressive Financial Analyst & AR experience in a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment, with at least 3 years handling cross-border AR and Financial Analyst experience.

Proven expertise in foreign currency AR management, FX adjustments, and multi-jurisdiction compliance (Canada and U.S.).

Mandatory proficiency in Infor SunSystems and Trans4M ERP systems.

Demonstrated experience with tooling billing, premium freight accounting, scrap rebates, and retroactive pricing adjustments.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, SUMIFS, macros, and data modeling.

Strong ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive data with accuracy.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to support executive-level reporting (Canada and U.S.).

Strong background in budget preparation, sales reporting, and sales analysis / forecasting.

Asset Qualifications

Experience supporting external audits and compliance reviews.

Knowledge of Canadian taxation and reporting standards.

Experience with ERP integration, migration, or financial system optimization.
