Overview

Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

Preferred Location : BC

Remote Occasional visit to centre

Languages : Bilingual (French and English Preferred)

Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and is responsible for various accounting duties.

Responsibilities
  • Entry and coding of a high volume of invoices
  • Responding to vendor inquiries
  • Managing AP email account
  • Payment and processing of online and credit card transactions
  • Verify vendor statements and resolve issues where past due invoices appear on statements
  • Review, verify and enter employee expense and corporate credit card reports
  • Assisting with pay run
  • Assisting with month-end AP accruals
  • Providing audit support
  • Providing reports and analysis as required
  • Ongoing accounting support; and other duties as required
Qualifications
  • College Degree in accounting or relevant field from a recognized academic institution; Bachelor’s Degree or higher is an asset
  • 2–3 years bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct is an asset
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Works well as part of a team with high attention to detail and precise operating methodology
