Position Summary

The Partnership Marketing team is responsible for delivering industry-leading value to partners while protecting and growing CSE’s partnership revenue. The Account Manager, Partnership Marketing plays a key role by building strong relationships, aligning with partners’ business needs, and ensuring delivery of both contractual and incremental value.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Deliverables & Execution & Projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Manage the execution of partnership deliverables across all CSE properties (Vancouver Canucks, Abbotsford Canucks, Vancouver Warriors, and Surge).
  • Track and measure value delivery throughout partnership terms, ensuring fulfillment of all contractual benefits and delivery beyond expectations through reporting and proof of performance demonstrating ROI and impact.
  • Maintain a consistent presence at Canucks and Warriors home games to oversee partner activations, ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Act as on-site host and point of contact for partner representatives, resolving any issues in real-time.
  • Support setup, coordination, and tear-down of partner activations to ensure premium execution standards.
  • Act as the partnerships representative on internal projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with department and organizational goals.
  • Must be able to work effectively and efficiently across a variety of software platforms and partnership management tools (e.g., Wrike, Tradeable Bits, KORE, Blinkfire), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.
Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with partners, serving as their primary day-to-day contact. You OWN the relationship from top to bottom and plan thoughtful, tailored experiences and connections for each partnership contact.
  • Establish open, responsive communication with partners and internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and address challenges.
  • Proactively seek face-to-face engagement opportunities with partners.
Growth & Renewal
  • Skilled at tailoring presentations and communications for diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with sales and strategy colleagues to identify opportunities for growth, renewal, and upsells.
  • Lead select renewal conversations with the goal of expanding partner investment.
  • Capitalize on upsell opportunities by developing customized solutions that align with partner objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of CSE revenue goals and contribute to achieving department targets.
Customized & Innovative Approach
  • Develop a deep understanding of each partners’ business, objectives, and brand guidelines to maximize value and integration opportunities.
  • Generate new ideas, programs, and activations, ensuring they are creative, impactful, and tailored to each partner.
  • Monitor sports, entertainment, and broader consumer trends to identify best practices and innovative strategies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in partnership activation, client services, or account management.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience planning and coordinating events, conferences, or promotions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Self-starter with initiative, creativity, and drive; thrives working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills; experience drafting/editing business proposals is an asset.
  • Commitment to providing superior client service.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends throughout NHL, AHL, and NLL seasons.
