Overview

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our NOAM Sales team for our Golf division in Montreal, Quebec (ideally, but remote candidates within Canada are welcome). You will be responsible for proactively managing some of Lightspeed’s largest and most strategic customers, focusing on understanding customer needs, building relationships, and helping customers succeed with Lightspeed's products and services.

What you’ll be doing
  • Proactively reach out to customers in your portfolio to drive product usage and add-ons. Expand the usage of the many Lightspeed Golf modules; identify and address churn risks, and ensure adoption of new product launches.
  • Define success criteria with your customer (with support from internal teams where applicable: Sales, Services, Support, Product) to ensure successful software utilization.
  • Provide a point of escalation for issues faced by large customers.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve the customer experience and increase CSAT.
  • Identify opportunities for reference accounts and marketing case studies; perform regular portfolio reporting to ensure high CSAT/NPS.
  • Stay up to date on Lightspeed products, processes, and new add-ons.
  • Be the voice of the customer and flag product requests to the appropriate teams.
  • Participate in team and region-wide initiatives and contribute to continual improvements in communication and collaboration.
And a little bit of…
  • Provide best practices to customers regarding POS and management.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and improve Customer Success and Account Management processes.
  • Conduct scope calls (when needed) pre-sale to determine customer requirements and needs.
  • Support the wider team to achieve organizational objectives, even if tasks fall outside the formal scope of your role.
What you need to bring
  • Experience managing an extended and complete sales cycle.
  • Strong emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for understanding customers’ unique business needs and helping optimize their outcomes.
  • Experience working with major corporations and maintaining SLAs.
  • Well-versed in and passionate about the golf industry.
  • Consultative, analytical, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and organized.
  • Results- and metric-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
