Account Executive for a Global SaaS Technology Company

We are looking for a dynamic, self-confident, goal-oriented person to join our strategic Global Sales team in Toronto.

Alertdriving has been the innovative leader in the global driver risk management space for 25 years. Our world-class enterprise technology platform, FleetDefense, is used by many of the biggest and brightest companies on the planet.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in Business Development in the North American market and looking to take the next step in their career. They will be a quick study regarding our products, markets, and sales process because they understand developing a solid working knowledge of these core elements is an investment in their career development and prosperity.

After completing our high-impact training curriculum, this individual will know how to focus on what is important to overcome the obstacles and challenges encountered selling technology to large complex organizations.

Key responsibilities and skills :

  • You are skilled at prospecting to generate your own leads through cold calling, research, etc.
  • Utilize strong hunting mentality to win Enterprise Accounts
  • Possess ability to identify key stakeholders and decision makers across numerous diverse industries
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building pipeline while building strong relationships with potential clients
  • Generate new business using consultative mindset and sales approach
  • Guiding opportunities through a sophisticated customer centric sales process
  • Sales cycle management including prospecting, qualifying, demos and building a business case
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills as related to acquiring new business
  • Coordinating input from internal subject matter experts to help build the optimal solution for each opportunity
  • Fluent, Friendly, lively, and persuasive presentation style and skills
  • The ability to plan, prioritize and work independently and collaboratively on multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Helpful experience :

  • A post secondary education and an interest in technology
  • 2+ years sales experience ideally in a consultative selling environment
  • 2+ years experience selling to North American markets
  • SaaS experience an asset
